Wycombe came to the Britannia Stadium and we were all thinking that they were going to cause trouble. Stoke again proved that they were better that anybody in division two by putting 5 goals past them, conceding only one. A fantastic attitude shown by the players and there is no reason why we can't do that to anybody in this league.
On the oatcake message board we've seen comments like 'If we can stay in 2nd place over this tough christmas period, then i'll be convinced that we're going up'. Stoke now sit top of the league and will be hoping that they can keep that place as they play Cardiff at home on wednesday, followed by Tranmere on boxing day and Huddesfield on the 29th to round off the december rush of games.
You couldn't really single anyone out for being the best player on the pitch because they all played so well. Bjarni and Brynjar were two that stood out in my mind but the whole team deserve a mension.
