There was no pattern, no work-rate, no creation and nobody who can hit the back of the net.

Match Round-up:

Rotherham are a hard working side and their hard work saw Rotherham take all 3 points and embarass Stoke City with a large result at Millmoor.

Neil Cutler denied Richie Barker excellently in the 10th minute.

Within 15 minutes goal number one came. Alan Lee took the ball to the by-line before crossing in to the near post for Richie Barker to head into the top right hand corner.

The second goal - Alan Lee himself got in a position, Cutler came to retrieve but was lobbed and the ball was in the back of the net.

Bjarni Gudjonsson, Stoke City MAD's Man of the Match, Volleyed in a rebound well from a free-kick but was saved by the keeper who was in the right spot in another one of Stoke's unsuccessful attempts.

8 minutes into the second half Thomas was dispossessed, the defence was completely torn and the ball was played across to Barker who was completely on his own as Clarke got drawn in and that was number three.

The 4th was a Rotherham Free Kick, Chris Swales powered a header home. The defence was again very poor.
