Player Ratings: Wigan 2-2 Stoke

Last updated : 05 December 2010 By Dan Buxton

Asmir Begovic - 7 - Made some great saves but had little chance with either of the deflected goals. Feel more confident with him between the sticks

Robert Huth - 7 - Was at fault for the second goal as he was turned too easy but all in all did well against the only Wigan threat in N'Zogbia

Ryan Shawcross - 8(Man of the Match) - Defender had yet another towering display, winning everything in the air, and also showed some great touches and put the Potters on a few attacks

Danny Higginbotham - 6 - Was solid at the back but has just one tactic on the ball...HOOF!!!

Danny Collins - 6 - Wasn't on his best form but did manage to help out in attack when the opportunity arose

Jon Walters - 7 - Put in 110% and had a decent game. Playing with a bit more confidence and managed to assist in the final third on numerous occasions

Matthew Etherington - 7 - Was heavily involved but is not on top form at the minute. Calm finish for goal

Rory Delap - 6 - The usual from Rory, plenty of hard work, but, bar one sublime ball to Fuller, very little with the ball at his feet

Dean Whitehead - 7 - Ran the show in the midfield as he won every tackle, spread the ball well and also bombed forward in the search for a winner

Kenwyne Jones - 7 - Won more than his fair share in the air, despite the usual kicks, pulls and tugs that he gets from the opposition every week. Denied a first half penalty when he was hauled to the floor by two defenders at a corner. Denied a goal by a superb save from the keeper

Ricardo Fuller - 7 - Got little service but came alive when he did get the ball. Great work to set up the second goal and was denied a goal by a great save and a penalty when he was pulled down when about to tap in a loose ball

Glenn Whelan - 5 - Did nothing of note

Tuncay - 6 - Plenty of effort and chasing but saw little of the ball. Did put one fantastic chipped ball into the far post
