Player Ratings: Stoke 1-3 Arsenal

Last updated : 27 February 2010 By Dan Buxton

Thomas Sorenson - 7 - Made one outstanding save second half, kicking was decent and also made a few strong saves

Andy Wilkinson - 8 - Rock solid at right back he was never scared of getting forward but yet again allowed very little past him

Robert Huth - 8(Man of the Match) - Was a rock in defence both at left back then in the centre after Faye was withdrawn and Shawcross dismissed. Won everything and now needs to form a partnership with Faye whilst Shawcross is unavailable

Abdoulaye Faye - 6 - Struggled to get back in the groove of things after his suspension. Was subbed off but needs to pick up form in time for next weeks vital FA Cup gane with Ryan now suspended

Ryan Shawcross - 7 - Had a great game up until that incident with Ramsey. Should bounce back from what was purely an accident

Rory Delap - 7 - Gave Clichy more problems than was expected and set up the Potters goal with a throw in

Danny Pugh - 7 - Scored his first league goal for Stoke on his return to the side. Gave 100% but failed to makr too much impact through game

Glenn Whelan - 6 - Struggled to contain Fabregas and Ramsey as Gunners pressed and pushed the Potters further back

Dean Whitehead - 7 - Not quite up to his usual standards and subbed off early but has run his socks off game in game out and so can be allowed a little dip after such a hectic period

Mama Sidibe - 7 - Won quite a bit in the air and, along with Fuller, teared the Gunners defence apart but faded the more that the game went on

Ricardo Fuller - 7 - Ran his socks off but without much success after early promise. Looked tired during second half and now has a well deserved week off from a game to recover

Danny Collins - 7 - Came on to shore up a defence looking shaky with Faye in it and pulled out one fantastic tackle at the death with the score still 1-1. Looks better at centre back than he does at left back

Liam Lawrence - 6 - Put plenty of effort in but couldn't get flowing with the ball at his feet

Tuncay - 6 - Striker came on and ran around a lot but couldn't help the Potters keep hold of their point and struggled on his own up front. Nice touches to use teammates when they bothered to support him
