Player Ratings: Portsmouth 1-2 Stoke

Last updated : 21 February 2010 By Dan Buxton

Thomas Sorenson - 6 - Claimed his crosses well but should have done better with the goal when he failed to keep hold of shot

Andy Wilkinson - 6 - Harshly sent off when the ref gave him a second yellow card for a tussle with Dindane. Was caused problems by Pompeys pace but was stuck to his task well

Danny Collins - 6 - Struggled with his distribution and put the defence under pressure at times and went mssing from left back on a couple of occasions leaving the winger free in space

Ryan Shawcross - 7 - Dominant in defence and did well against the tricky forwards and pacey midfielders that Pompey had

Robert Huth - 8(Man of the Match) - Scored the vital equaliser and took care of the Portsmouth attackers, very solid display from the German international

Rory Delap - 7 - Put Fuller away for the winner with good knock down the line. Kept the ball well and got stuck in, understanding his defensive duties when we were down to ten men.

Tuncay - 7 - Great effort from the hitman and had a couple of great runs but was unable to make them count. Dustribution was good and linked up with midfield well. Should have scored at least one though

Dean Whitehead - 7 - Another all action display and for the second successive game ended up at right back as we went down to ten men. Got in block after block and stopped O'Hara time and again

Glenn Whelan - 6 - Disappointing performance after two good games this past week. Struggled to get a foothold in the midfield but did play better when we went down to ten men.

Mama Sidibe - 6 - Had an up and down game. Had spells when he won loads in the air but then would go quiet and go twenty minutes without winning anything at all

Ricardo Fuller - 7 - Battled gamely up front and was unlucky not to have more of a look at goal himself throughout the game. Great run for the second goal and was a threat and menace to the Pompey defence right through game

Salif Diao - 6 - Didn't do a lot until showing great anticipation to make run into 6 yard box and tap in Fuller's pass to win the game at the death

David Kitson - 6 - Came on for the last few seconds and did a crucial job, winning free kicks and corners in the corner to stop Portsmouth getting the ball anywhere near the Potters goal
