Player Ratings: Manchester United 4-0 Stoke

Last updated : 11 May 2010 By Dan Buxton

Asmir Begovic - 7 - Had a decent game. Should have done better with Giggs goal but had no chance with the other strikes. Made a superb save from Nani in the second half

Andy Wilkinson - 8(Man of the Match) - Had a a cracking game at the back. Nothing got past him, as usual, and he made at least three great last ditch tackles to deny the Red Devils

Danny Higginbotham - 5 - Struggled to cope with the home sides widemen and bad day at the office was summed up when he sliced a cross into his own net

Ryan Shawcross - 6 - Not his best display in a Potters shirt but he wasn't helped by others looking a bit disinterested

Robert Huth - 7 - Got Higginbotham out of trouble on numerous occasions with some expert defending

Rory Delap - 6 - Had a quiet afternoon, up until the final stages when, looking to get himself a first goal of 2009/10, he was furthest man forward but misjudged a cross and Van Der Sar was able to stretch and claw away his effort

Matthew Etherington - 7 - Got up and down and looked busy but did fade out of game for periods and others around him gave limited support

Dean Whitehead - 7 - Had to do two mens job in the centre, and the right wing position, never stopped running but needed help from elsewhere as rarely had an outlet

Glenn Whelan - 5 - Game totally passed him by and he was very much a passenger for long periods of the game, exposing both his midfield partner and the defence

Mama Sidibe - 6 - Won a few headers and put himself about, was a menace. Another who drifted out of the game for long spells and never gave Ric any support in the final third

Ricardo Fuller - 7 - Was a danger, when he had the ball, but wasn't found as much as he needed to be and had an ultimately frustrating day. When he got the ball he wasn't supported and nobody was there to tap in after Ric's hard work

Danny Pugh - 7 - One fantastic shot that Van Der Sar had to claw away at full stretch and played the ball around well in the midfield. Very good cameo from the reliable midfielder

Salif Diao - 6 - Looked comfortable in the midfield and broke up a few attacks. Also sent a few passes forward, something we have hardly ever seen him do, one exquisitely put behind the defence for Etherington

Danny Collins - 6 - Didn't really get involved but no screw ups at least when ball was near him
