Last updated : 22 May 2011 By Dan Buxton

Thomas Sorensen - 6 - Pulled off a couple of saves to keep the score respectable. Should have done better with the second but had no chance with the other two goals.

Andy Wilkinson - 6 - A couple of rash tackles could have seen him dismissed on another day and he was given a rough time by the wingers, but stuck to his job to the end.

Marc Wilson - 6 - Kept the ball well but was exposed on occasions by the wingers

Ryan Shawcross - 7 - Defender was overworked as he had to try and deal with everything the hosts threw at the Potters

Danny Collins - 5 - Looked shakey and out of his depth. maybe it was due to a lack of recent action but still he was run ragged by Tevez and co

Dean Whitehead - 6 - Was very quiet and didn't really get involved

Danny Pugh - 6 - Again didn't really get involved too much on the ball but did harass and pressure when chasing the possession

Glenn Whelan - 7 - Kept ball very well, showing the Potters can play with a patient build up when the pace of Etherington and Pennant is unavailable.

Salif Diao - 6 - Gave away a couple of free kicks but never backed out of a challenge and did well seeing as he hadn't seen miuch action all season

Jon Walters - 6 - Was moved around throughout the game but remained focused on the task, however thankless it may of been, but lacked service and support

John Carew - 6 - Was asked to work and work as a lone front man but wasn't given enough chances to hold the ball and so Stoke were unable to get a major foothold in the game

Rory Delap - 6 - Was unable to cause problems but did chase after coming off the bench and made sure the hosts worked for their possession

Ryan Shotton - 6 - Was steady at the back and made a couple of telling interceptions aswell as winning more than one vital header
