Player Ratings: Fulham 2-0 Stoke

Last updated : 22 January 2011 By Dan Buxton

Asmir Begovic - 6 - Made a couple of saves when needed, no real chance with first and was sent the wrong way for the penalty. Kicking was erratic at times

Andy Wilkinson - 6 - Was solid enough and adapted well at left back afvter switching following Shawcross dismissal

Danny Collins - 5 - Was tore apart by Duff as he was beaten time and time again. Allowed winger by for the opener and TP must now be looking at a replacement full back

Ryan Shawcross - 5 - Missed a sitter early on and was given the run around by Johnson before eventually being sent off for a clumsy foul on Dempsey that also gave away a penalty

Robert Huth - 6 - Far from vintage Huth but the best of a bad bunch defensively. He didn't get caught out as much as Shawcross and was on hand a few times to clear danger

Rory Delap - 6 - Failed to really get involved in the game out on the right, offering nothing either going forward or in defence. Improved slightly at right back but was very little attacking threat from Fulham by then as they had the game won

Matthew Etherington - 5 - Totally anonymous throughout as City failed to find him and let him do his magic

Dean Whitehead - 5 - Had very little effect on the game and it seems that if Deano plays well Stoke play well and if he doesn't then neither do City

Marc Wilson - 6 - Struggled to cope with the midfield duo of Murphy and Etuhu as he couldn't overpower or outpass the opposition. Did have a few goods moments and kept battling to the end

Tuncay - 6 - Bright start but failed to carry that forward before being subbed with half an hour remaining

Kenwyne Jones - 6 - Hit the post with the score goalless and won his faior share of headers, narrowly over or wide on quite a few occasions. Signs that the early season Kenwyne is on the way back

Abdoulaye Faye - 5 - Dallied too much on the ball, played stupid passes and gacve away stupid free kicks

John Carew - 6 - Very promising debut as he showed neat touches, good control and did well to create himself an opportunity when he had five defenders around him. Look forward to seeing a fully fit and settled John Carew

Glenn Whelan - 5 - Offered very little after coming on and gave the ball away too much although he continued to battle to the final whistle
