Player Ratings: Fulham 0-1 Stoke

Last updated : 06 May 2010 By Dan Buxton

Asmir Begovic - 7 - Was solid and got behind everything. Some good saves and looked at home with the defence in front of him. Very promising signs

Andy Wilkinson - 7 - Another tigerish display from the full back. As solid as ever and distribution is improving. Gives up nothing and is the best right back at the club

Robert Huth - 8(Man of the Match) - Towered above everyone in the air, faultless on the floor, winning many vital tackles, and a danger in the opposition box, Huth had a quality game and was the leader in a gritty defensive display

Ryan Shawcross - 7 - Won a lot in the air but needlessly got involved in a battle with Dempsey and got himself a booking for continually fouling the Cottagers frontman

Danny Higginbotham - 6 - Distribution wasn't great and that helped Fulham to keep coming back at the Potters and hindered Stoke's attemots to build their own attacks. Quite solid in defence though and was as willing as ever to throw anything in the way

Rory Delap - 6 - An improvement on Saturday but it was still clear he's not comfortable on the right. Was much more defensively involved than attacking wise and helped the Potters keep a clean sheet

Dean Whitehead - 7 - Never stopped running and was solid in defence, tackling and tracking well aswell as getting forward when possible and always picked the right option

Glenn Whelan - 6 - Game seemed to pass him by and he failed to really influence it from the centre of the park.

Matthew Etherington - 7 - Wasn't involved enough in the game but when he did get the ball he caused problems. Timed his run perfectly late on to meet Fuller's cross and finished the chance fantastically well

Mama Sidibe - 7 - Got stuck in and made himself a nuisance to the home side both when the Potters had the ball and also when the Fulham defence had possession

Ricardo Fuller - 7 - Was the main threat as he looked dangerous every time he got the ball. Went close with a header aswell as a couple of shots before setting up the winner after another great piece of skill

Tuncay - 6 - Did what was needed when he got on the ball but didn't get too involved

Salif Diao - 6 - Came on to hore up the midfield after the deadlock had been broken and helped see out the win

Liam Lawrence - 6 - Brought on in injury time to run down the seconds
