Last updated : 03 December 2010 By Dan Buxton

Asmir Begovic - 7 - Don't think he could have done better with the goal but was otherwise solid and made a few good saves

Robert Huth - 6 - Seemed to struggle at times at full back as the slick movement of the hosts attackers were able to play it around the big, strong defender

Danny Collins - 6 - Had an average game as he was skinned on a few occasions but also got a few tackles in to stop the hosts in their tracks

Ryan Shawcross - 8 - Another cracking display as he continues to push for England recognition. Hardly gave the hosts a sniff

Abdoulaye Faye - 6 - Seemed to be having a solid game until he misjudged a cross and allowed the ball to bounce off his shins, with the ball ending up in the net shortly after to decide the game

Jon Walters - 5 - Struggled to get in the game as he shows more and more every game that he needs a break to reassess his form

Matthew Etherington - 7 - Has had better games for Stoke but was still by far the most prominent threat from the Potters midfield

Dean Whitehead - 7 - Got up and down well and helped Stoke more than compete in the midfield but City had no luck in the final third again

Marc Wilson - 7 - Had his best game for the Potters as he spread the play well and also got stuck in to try and help the Potters dominate the midfield

Kenwyne Jones - 6 - Had a very quiet game as he struggled to exert his frame on the game

Tuncay - 8(Man of the Match) - Took his chance up front as he showed some great touches, fitness and strength aswell as scoring a poachers finish that was shockingly ruled out by the ref

Jermaine Pennant - 7 - Winger came on to add some creativity and showed good work but it was never meant to be for the Potters

Glenn Whelan - 6 - Came on with fifteen minutes left but struggled to get involved and affect the game
