Player Ratings: Bolton 0-5 Stoke

Last updated : 18 April 2011 By Dan Buxton

Thomas Sorensen - 7 - Made easy work of the few efforts, mainly from distance, at his goal. Had one great save to amke at 3-0

Andy Wilkinson - 7 - Defensively was on top throughout. Distribution was a bit ropey and I'm gutted he couldn't finish the chance when Walters scored the 5th.

Marc Wilson - 7 - Very solid game. Nothing got past him in defence and distributed the ball well when he had it.

Robert Huth - 8 - Scored the second with a 25 yard half volley and was a rock at the back, restricting Bolton to long range efforts throughout

Ryan Shawcross - 8 - Fantastic performance at the heart of the defence as he kept Davies quiet all game. Produced one fantastic tackle at the start of the second half to clear a goalscoring opportunity for the Trotters.

Jermaine Pennant - 9 - Fantastic game from the winger, teasing Robinson as he drove at him time and again. RIght in form lately and grabbed an assist to add to his collection

Matthew Etherington - 9 - Another superb display from the consistent winger. Caused problems all afternoon and, after netting opener, never dropped off before late substitution to huge ovation

Rory Delap - 7 - Used long throw sensibly and put himself about very well in the middle, closing down and also kept possession well

Glenn Whelan - 8 - Spread the play well on the big pitch and put in numerous tackles in defence. Another positive performance from midfielder

Jon Walters - 8 - Scored a brace but once again never stopped running and chasing everything. Neat finishes added gloss to performance

Kenwyne Jones - 9(Man of the Match) - May have scored the crucial third but had so much more to his game. Great work for the 5th and also won so many free kicks and throw ins in the final third. Was also on hand when defending set pieces and never stopped running, another top display from the big man.

Dean Whitehead - 6 - Brought on to give fresh legs and allow Pennant a rest and an ovation from the crowd. Put himself about and kept it tight

Ricardo Fuller - 6 - Came on with the score at 5-0 but tormented a frustrated defence and won a couple of free kicks

Danny Pugh - 6 - Came on late on and protected the ball well to secure clean sheet
