Player Ratings: Blackpool 0-0 Stoke

Last updated : 30 April 2011 By Dan Buxton

Asmir Begovic - 7 - Quiet afternoon for the Bosnian but was alert to mop up anything that came in behind his defence

Andy WIlkinson - 7 - Solid whilst on the pitch before a niggle forced him off early in the second period, stayed strong under heavy first half pressure

Marc Wilson - 7 - Was solid in the first period and then a good outlet during the second half as the Potters pushed for a winner

Ryan Shawcross - 7 - A couple of nervy moments with the tricky DJ Campbell but still came out well on top overall and it was another assured display for a player coming back to his best

Robert Huth - 8 - A rock at the back once again as he let nothing past him and was a danger in the opposition box as usual

Jermaine Pennant - 8(Man of the Match) - Did some great defensive work in the first period and then, after the break, took control and was the winger we have come to expect of late, running at defenders, both inside and out, and putting numerous fantastic balls into the box

Rory Delap - 7 - Some good leg work as he supported his full back out on the left and also made sure he found a teammate with short, sharp passes when in possession

Dean Whitehead - 6 - Seemed a bit rusty after a few weeks on the bench and never fully revved up his engine. Wasn't really involved much at all

Glenn Whelan - 7 - Another highly credible performance from the reborn Irishman and he had a hat trick of efforts to win it during the second period but couldn't beat the keeper

Jon Walters - 6 - Seems to have slightly gone off the boil these past couple of weeks and was quiet for him today aswell

Kenwyne Jones - 6 -  Not his day but after his fantastic recent performances we'll allow him this one, only one mind. Missed an absolute sitter and, although he seemed to improve after the break, wasn't at the races at all during the first 45 minutes

Ryan Shotton - 7 - Was greeted with the highest of high balls seconds into his Premier League debut but after that he coped well and looked comfortable at right back. Promising display

John Carew - 6 - Needs gametime as he is the only reserve striker on the books but was very ring rusty when on came on. Will improve with minutes on the field

Salif Diao - 6 - Brought on late to help see out the clean sheet
