Sorenson - 7 - Only had the one save to make but what a save it was. Would have beaten some of the best keepers but not the Big Dane. City owe point to him.

Wilkinson - 7 - Strong at the back and coped well against Benitez when the striker tried to work him oin the flank. One superb tackle second half stopped a one-on-one situation developing

Higginbotham - 6 - Solid in defence, no problems there but struggled to find a teammate when releasing the ball.

Shawcross - 7 - Should have scored at least once but in defence was the usual rock and nothing is getting past him at present

A.D. Faye - 7 - Captains display. Kept Birminghams threat to a minimum and was always there helping to get the Potters going forward.

Lawrence - 8 (Man of the Match) - Always involved, got back to defend but was always back in the final third when needed. Whipped in cross after cross all afternoon and with a bit of luck that early Carr clearance would have gone the other side of the post after striking Liams knee.

Etherington - 6 - Early Potters form still eluding him. Tried and tried all afternoon but just needs to find that spark. Sure he will come good

Whelan - 6 - Battled well but struggled to stamp authority in the final third. Much of his good work was done in defence, which is a suprise due to the amount of time the Potters spent attacking

Delap - 7 - Continued his superb start to the season. Seems to have moer composure on the ball these days and those famed long throws had Brum panicking all afternoon long. Somehow failed to get an assist.

Beattie - 6 - Went in brave at the far post and awkward landing saw him injure what looks like either his ankle or knee. Subbed off in the 10th minute and is now looking at a spell on the sidelines

Fuller - 7 - Tireless running and had goal disallowed for handball, which he was booked for. Looking dangerous and is the main goal threat, as usual.

Subs:

Kitson - 7 - Came on much earlier than expected. Gave 100% effort and helped with build up play. Went close with a couple of efforts but that first competitive goal still eludes him. Depending on seriousness of Beattie's injury he could now get a run in the side

Whitehead - 6 - Little time to get involved but helped secure a point whilst trying to make it three
