Player Ratings: Stoke 1-1- Manchester City

Last updated : 28 November 2010 By Dan Buxton

Asmir Begovic - 7 - Was very solid and got behind everything, apart from Richards shot which seemed to go through him. Conditions are horrible for a keeper though and he did well overall

Andy Wilkinson - 7 - Looking much more composed and at home lately. The usual effort and most of the time he knew when to get the ball down and when to get rid of it. Nearly put Fuller in after a great dribble forward but last ditch touch from defender out the ball behind.

Danny Collins - 6 - Was solid for the most part and in the first half he got forward very well, putting in some excellent crosses. However after a lazy back pass put Tevez in in the first half he got turned too easily by Richards for the goal.

Ryan Shawcross - 7 - Dominant in the air and mopped up fantastically on the floor, will be kicking himself that he missed second half chance

Robert Huth - 7 - Looked destined to get a goal as he went close time and again but it never came. Looks much more assured in the middle and we look a much more balanced side with the defence as it is.

Jermaine Pennant - 7 - Gave 45 minutes after passing a late fitness test and played well, got forward and put in some fantastic crosses whilst also helping out at the back and pressing constantly to pressure the opposition defence into giving the ball away

Matthew Etherington - 8 - Was in the game thoughout, running the defence ragged and, although the ball hasn't quite being running for him the last couple of weeks, he let his frustrations out by drilling in a late equaliser

Rory Delap - 6 - Throws started dangerously but petered out and although the effort was clear for all to see, he struggled to retain possession and find a team mate.

Dean Whitehead  - 7 - Was here, there and everywhere in the midfield but seemed to take time to readjust when moved to right back.

Kenwyne Jones  - 7 - Was pulled from pillar to post as usual but managed to win his fair share of headers and also combined really well with Fuller on the floor, the Jamaican should have finished after Jones played him in

Ricardo Fuller - 8(Man of the Match) - Had the ball glued to his feet in the first half as he tortured the visitors defence. Should have had at least one goal whilst he created half a dozen chances to put the Potters ahead. Second half saw him see less of the ball but he was still dangerous when in possession

Tuncay - 7 - Came on at half time and struggled to get in the game but was much better after moving up front. 'World-class' backheel for the Potters equaliser as he showed superb awareness and ability to put the ball straight into Etherington's path.

Marc Wilson - 6 - Went into the centre of midfield and took time to get in the game, getting caught on the ball as he looked for a pass on more than one occasion. Good tracking back and tackling made amends on a few occasions but could well have cost the Potters the game

Jon Walters - 6 - Ran his legs off after coming on late on but didn't make much impact with the ball at his feet, one shot that was deflected wide was probably his main contribution
