Sorensen -7- Good saves in second kept Stoke in it.

Collins -7- Solid performance good distribution to Etherington.

Faye -7- Looked more like old self good tackling and read everything well.

Shawcross -7- Good decision making unfortunate for goal and just missing out on Pennants free-kick.

Huth -7- Still doesn’t look happy at full-back, good distribution and reading of the game.

Etherington -7- Didn’t get as much freedom as against Villa but still did well and got forward.

Whitehead -7- Non stop working, few sloppy passes overshadowed by Parker in the middle.      

Delap -7- Good delivery from throws nearly scored with Fuller header.

Pennant -8- Got down the wing a lot and great delivery for Jones goal.

Walters -8- Good working, good running unlucky when Jones didn’t square to him when he had open goal.

Jones -8- Second goal in two games unlucky not to have more worked hard.

Whelan -6- Slotted in well good performance

Gudjohnsen -5- Looked well off the pace and totally unfit
