How did the Potters defeat affect the final standings
The Potters were defeated by Wigan in yesterdays final game of the season, and nobody saw the result coming.
Of the 14 predictions made on Beat the Manager nobody went for a Wigan win meaning there was little chance for movement.
In fact the top 4 all stayed in their positions, with the highest placed mover being Knoweyedeer, who rose above Hillside Shamblers into 5th place. The only other mover was scfclifer who moved above Marchist Theory into 17th place.
The champions therefore were crowned as Wilgys Wonders finished 4 points ahead of runners up The Messiahs 2nd XI, with bronze medal winner Lotta Continua a further dozen points back.
