Beat The Manager: Week Seven review

Last updated : 28 September 2009 By Dan Buxton
City's 2-0 defeat was a winner for one man as Heerweege Whammers were the only ones who had a successful prediction and gained maximum points. The twenty points came in handy after poor showing in the last games had seen them drop off the top spot occupied prior to them and saw them rise to third.

The two sides above them both predicted the correct result, but not score as they both had 2-1 defeats, to extend their lead from the chasing pack, and both are approaching the ton mark.

Only fourteen of the twenty one teams had predictions registered and all but five had the correct result. Buxtons Picks moved up from 7th to 5th after predicting a 1-0 defeat allowed them to leapfrog T.B.C(M.Young) and Goatface in the congested area just below the leaders.

Other movers saw the oracle keep up their record of every prediction being correct result wise, but no correct scores yet and moved ahead of The Mighty Plotters and Yyy05 to sit just outside the top 10 and Penn United also moved up the league, swapping places with Manila Maniacs after correctly predicting a Stoke defeat.
