Beat the Manager: Week 32 review

Last updated : 04 April 2010 By Dan Buxton

Quite a lot in fact!

Lawrence made it 2-0 in added time and whilst every prediction was for a Potters win, only four were for 2-0, meaning four very good weeks for managers.

One of them was newbie Sulind who followed on from last weeks opening prediction, where they predicted a Stoke win, to net 20 points and move upto 20th in the table.

Hillside were another side to move up, their 3-0 prediction taking them into the top 15 and onto the front page whilst PENN UNITED were another on the move, rising above The Mighty Morphin Flower Arrangers into 9th after a 2-1 prediction.

One of the winners, but still a late losers, was Heerweeghe Whammers whose 1-0 prediction earnt them enough points to move above The Cumbrian Select into 6th, but it could have been so much better until Lawrence's late goal.

Three of the top five showed why they are so far up the table though as 5th placed Buxtons Picks and 3rd placed Whitehill Casuals kept up their title hopes with a 2-0 prediction whilst Peckham Pouncers reclaimed the lead from Knoweyedeer after also predicting a 2-0 Potters win.

4th placed Goatface would have seen a big dent in the gap to the leaders had Lawrence not netted late on but their 1-0 prediction went from being worth 20 points to just 7 with that goal whilst top placed Knoweyedeer needed another goal to make it a great day for them after a 3-0 prediction.

With just 6 games left there is all to play for at the top of the league.
