Beat The Manager: Game 3 review

Last updated : 24 August 2009 By Dan Buxton

Peckham Pouncers have taken the a clear lead at the top of the table after successfully predicting a goalless encounter at St. Andrews, a result that took them to 52 points and 13 clear of second placed Heerweege Whammers, who also predicted the game would end without the deadlock being broken.

A cluster of sides are just behind with Yyy05 and (T.B.C)M.Young on 37 and Whitehill Casuals on 35 after all three predicted a draw, but  a score draw, for the weekend fixture.

There six sides in the mid table who have predicted the correct result for all three games so far but, unluckily, have not yet managed to pull out a correct score and bag the points needed to get towards the top end of the league.

At the other end bottom spot goes to (T.B.C)N.Frost who failed to predict for the second game running whilst Knowlesey FC was the big faller, down from 8th place to eighteenth, and now finds himself between Big Mama and Northend Stokeys in the bottom 3.

Due to Cup games not being part of the competition next up is Saturday's home clash with Sunderland and another match that will be difficult to predict, with the Black Cats in good form this season.
