West Ham 0-1 U18's

City's U18's came away with all three points after travelling to East London and defeating West Ham in a perfect away performance.

Warwick Alexander came into the side for fellow striker Louis Moult who, after making his first team bow in midweek, missed out with a back injury.

The Potters used pace to great effect and took the lead in the first half as Foster and Urwin combined on the left wing before the highly rated Urwin whipped in a perfect cross into the perfectly timed run of Andy Nicholls. Nicholls buried the chance to score the opening, and only, goal.

Stoke were put under intense pressure the longer the game wore on but the defence held firm and eventually came out with a hard fought victory.
