A young City side were held by Championship side Nottingham Forest at the Clayton Wood training complex.
Andy Nicholls opened the scoring for the Potters, who dominated for long periods, before the visitors equalised in injury time.
The performance was a big positive for Stoke, who were up against a much bigger, older and more experienced side.
The next assignment for the U18's is the home game with Liverpool, scheduled for Monday 12th April kicking off at 12 noon.
