Stoke's Staffs Senior Cup quarter final tie away at Port Vale has been postponed due to the freezing conditions in the Potteries.
Vale had covered the pitch in the hope of getting the game on but Sunday nights temperatures of -8C proved too much for the covers to fight and the game was called off on Monday afternoon.
The tie will now be rearranged, most probably after the New Year, as the sides hope to claim a place in the last four.
