Martin Appointed As Academy Chief

Chris Martin has been appointed the Potters new Academy Director, taking up the mantle left by Steve Holland when he joined Chelsea.

Martin, 41, has spent six and a half years in a number of roles within Portsmouth's academy structure and has now taken over as the head of City's youth system. His last position at Fratton Park was recruitment officer.

Martin will no doubt get straight into recruiting fresh talent for the Potters, but will have to wait to see the U16 and U18's in action after tomorrows scheduled fixtures against Manchester United were postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
