City U18's moved into 7th position in their academy group after brushing aside Liverpool in this Under 18's fixture played at Melwood.

Liverpool side may not have been at full strength due to their FA Youth Cup game against Watford on Monday but were still expected to do better against a Potters academy that doesn;t have the experience, scouting network or budget of their scouse counterparts.

City's goals were scored by Louis Moult, Matt Cohen, Cameron Mitchell and a U16 trialist.

City, still without a home league game since November, will now take on Liverpool again next Saturday in a rearranged fixture. The match will be played at the Clayton Woods Sports Complex, kicking off at 11am.
