City Under 18's suffered just their third defeat of the season as they lost 1-0 to Everton at the Merseyside clubs Finch Farm training complex.
The Potters started the game in 5th place, but with a game in hand after last weeks encounter with Manchester United was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, but couldn't keep up their impressive early form.
The youngsters next match is a home clash with Liverpool on Saturday 5th December, kick off 11am at the Clayton Woods Training Complex.
