Richard Cresswell has joined the half a dozen Stoke players out on loan, after sealing a 93-day emergency loan move to Sheffield United.

The Blades already have City defender Andrew Davies at Bramall Lane but have dipped back into the Potters back up squad to bring 'Cresser' to his native Yorkshire.

Cresswell is out of contract at the end of the season and it is very unlikely he will be offered an extension as he struggles to get into the Potters matchday eighteen.

Other Stoke players out on loan are Ibrahima Sonko(Hull), Carl Dickinson(Barnsley), Andy Wilkinson(Barnsley), Ben Marshall(Northampton) anjd Danzelle St.Louis-Hamilton(Vauxhall Motors)

Cresswell will be forced to return to the Britannia for a short period prior to the opening of the January transfer window, even if there is a deal to make the move permanent.
