USA International Attracts Stoke's Interest
Updated Monday, 25th June 2012
Stoke City have started talks with American side Houston Dynamo about their United States international centre back Geoff Cameron.
Stoke and Everton have both been out to the States to see Cameron in action and news is that the defender looks good enough to make an impact on the English Premier League.
Dynamo president Chris Canetti confirmed that talks had started: acknowledged that talks are underway: "I would say some dialogue has opened up in terms of what it might take to get it done," Canetti told the Houston Chronicle.
"We haven't made an official offer. I don't know how serious they are or if they're just kicking the tires. Right now there's just initial dialogue that's starting up."
