Well, the end has finally arrived for one of the most respected and well loved footie boards on the internet. Although TwoView, the second division Rivals board, is still there, it's two main boards, the football board and the infamous AWAG board have finally closed. It has been on the cards with the rationalisation of the new Rivals – 365 setup but no one expected it to end so suddenly. But end it has, and the former administrator, Andy Perry, a long serving and passionate Stoke supporter, has now set up another site to compensate for its loss.
The new site is called “Let's Go Awag” and it now remains to be seen whether it can retain the faithful following which made the old Awag board so successful. The site has no affiliation to any group and is now simply a board set up to serve footie fans from all clubs who want to join together for an hour or two of fun and general banter, whether it it be footie related or not. A number of the former posters of the old site have assisted Andy in setting up the new site and we at StokeCityMad wish them every success.
