The Scene Is Set For An Upset

Stoke have a tough task on their hands, playing Liverpool is hard enough but this is a game on their own patch and many Stoke fans saw just what Liverpool are capable of when they beat Everton in midweek.

But Upson insists that the hunger for a return to the national stadium is big and they will be trying their very best to get there again with the hope that they can go one better than last season and win the competition.

But Liverpool already have a feel for the stadium, they have just won the Carling Cup and ‘King Kenny’ will be looking to make it a double success.

But Liverpool have already had one crack at Stoke at Anfield this season and they know that they are up against a stubborn, never give up mentality installed in the Stoke players and they will be roared on by an army of travelling Stokies.

The scene is set for an upset.

Upson told the Sentinel: "We are the underdogs, but that suits us. The lads are revved up for another great FA Cup tie.

"It's a fantastic game and a great opportunity.

"I think we can take our game there. If we get among them and physically work very hard, then we have a chance of getting a result.

"We will absolutely have that belief, otherwise we might as well not turn up."
