Leeds hope he will gain some valuable league experience with the potters, he is well thought of at leeds and is second only to England right back Gary Kelly.

He is not, however, allowed to play in our FA Cup 4th round tie against Bournemouth or Crewe.

The defender said: "The prospect of possible first-team football is attractive to me and that's what I want to do.

"My aim is to do well enough here to get into the first team and ultimately take that back to Leeds with me and hopefully use it to push for a Premiership place."
