Stoke City coach Mark O'Connor says the club's three first-team goalkeepers are among the best in the Premier League.Asmir Begovic is the Potters current number one ahead of Thomas Sorensen and veteran former Preston keeper Carlo Nash is third choice.

"Asmir's got it at the moment, Thomas has been fantastic for the club and Carlo Nash has been a breath of fresh air," O'Connor told BBC Radio Stoke.

"In goalkeeping terms we're probably as strong as any team in the league."

Begovic, 22, has started the club's last five league games after wrestling the goalkeeper's jersey from Denmark's Sorensen, the club's first choice for the last two seasons.

"It's good competition and if a goalkeeper gets injured you've got to have somebody to step in, it's a massive position on the pitch which I think a lot of people underestimate.

"Good goalkeepers save you eight to ten points a season and we're hoping whoever we put between the posts is going to do that," O'Connor added.
