Souleymane Oulare Leaves

You could argue that Souleymane scored the most important goal in Stoke's recent history as it was he who the ball deflected off when James O'Connor hit the free-kick that won Stoke the game away to Cardiff. Without the deflection it would have been saved.

However a mix of bad luck and bad timing has meant that Souleymane Oulare hasn't even been fit enough to play since his operation over the summer.

Rudge: "Soulymane has returned to Belgium and we have released him from the remainder of his contract which had the rest of the season to run. We wish him all the best for the future."

Rudge said it was a great shame that his time with Stoke did not work out.

He said: "He could have been an excellent signing for us, and there is no doubt a very unfortunate combination of circumstances worked against him after he joined us."
