Ibrahima Sonko has beaten the transfer deadline to sign on loan for Hull City.
Hull, who sold star man Michael Turner to Sunderland last night, have been searching for a central defender to replace Turner all day and have now secured the services of the Potters Senegalese international on a six-month loan.
Sonko signed from Reading last summer for £2m but failed to impress and is well down the pecking order at the Potters.
