Pulis: 'You'll like Harper!'

"Kevin is a quality player.

"I think it's a fantastic deal for this football club and I can't wait for him to get fully fit and start playing for Stoke City.

"He's a top player who's got great pace, two great feet and can score goals.

"Harry Redknapp played him right back, right wing, left wing, wing back and played him all over the park so he can play everyone and is a good addition to the squad."

Fratton Faithful (Portsmouth MAD) Editor Keith Allman had this to say about the winger's time at Fratton Park.

"Harps had a bit of a mixed time here. When he first turned up he was average, then he had an absolutely rubbish season where he got sent off more times than he scored, but during our promotion season he was fantastic.

"He played a couple of times in the Premiership for us and didn't look out of place, although he's not featured at all this year. He's got bags of pace but his end product can be a bit lacking.

"He has the ability to score some cracking goals and deliver some fantastic crosses but also has a habit of ballooning it into Row Z. He's certainly a useful addition".

Pulis has also been quick to compliment the two new Icelandic additions to the squad.

Tony added: "I think it's been well documented that I don't know the two Icelandic players very well.

"I will say that they've looked decent kids and their attitudes have been first class, as with the other Icelandic players who have been at the club."
