"It was a disappointing performance, I can't argue with that. We looked jaded. It was a bad day at the office for me, the players, everybody," he said.
"We've played three teams this week. We came into this game on the back of a big game against Rotherham and we looked sluggish.
"None of the players performed like they have to at this level - there's no excuses. We've got to get back to that level of performance we got on Wednesday. It's going to be a struggle, it's going to be a fight right to the last game."
