City are getting desperate as 7 players couldn't make training this week, including Ade Akinbiyi, Gerry Taggart, Marcus Hall, John Halls and Ed de Goey.

"At the moment we are just sifting through books to see what there is. We need to strengthen all over the place.

"I've got seven players injured at the moment. We have trained with only five players all week. We are down to the bare bones.

"I've said all season that we need a bigger squad. Look at the bench on Saturday, we've had to look to the young players such as Jermaine Palmer and Jay Denny."

City face a tough test away at Plymouth Argyle this saturday, who equal our 7 wins this season but are below due to getting two draws less than the potters.
