Pulis admits Stoke are restricted by transfer budgets

"I have spoken to five clubs about players in the past week", Said Pulis, "and they have quoted some on £14,000-a-week, some on £11,000 and some on £7,000, while another club said the player in question was on £3,500 but they wanted a fee for him as well.
"That gives you an idea of the kind of figures we are having to compete against as we try to improve within our own budget."
