Pulis - 'Wolves will be a Tough Test'

"This could be our toughest match yet," said Pulis.

"Wolves have massively under-achieved this season when you look at the experience and quality in their line-up.

"They are under no pressure because no-one is really expecting them to get into the play-offs.

"We know we've got to defend a lot better than we did in the opening stages of the other night and we know it will be a very different game because Wolves will want to play a bit under Glenn Hoddle."

"They get the ball forward quickly, have a big physical presence and will not show any niceties. We have to look for moments of excellence that will turn the game for us."

Steve Cotterill was quick to praise Wolves after their performance against Burnley on tuesday night which ended in a 2-0 home win for Glen Hoddle's men. "They are a quality team and have a squad you would be very enviable of," said Cotterill.

"I wouldn't want to put any pressure on Glenn or his players, but they are a big club that quite probably needs Premiership football for its supporters and players.

"They are good enough and if they go on a run they could take some stopping."

The Potters should be taking a capacity crowd the short trip south to Wolverhampton, boosted by the guest scheme now available with the Stoke City Away Card.

Pulis added: "From what I can gather we are close to selling all of our tickets, which is tremendous.

"There's not many occasions when we sell out, so it'll be nice to turn up and see a load of people in red and white.
