Potters will not extend stadium

The stadium holds 28,000 when full and is due to see an increased average attendance last year after already being one of the biggest in division two, second to only Reading who won promotion automaticly.

Extending the stadium wont be necessary at this time but everyone is looking to the premiership and should Stoke get there, the stadium would then be extended.

He said: "I would love to see us forced to increase capacity by having sell-out crowds every week, but at the moment we have no plans to extend the stadium. That will have to wait until we get to the Premiership!"
