Stoke are set for a loan move for Chelsea new £18m signing Romelu Lukaku. The striker, 18, who only joined the Pensioners two weeks ago, has already stated to a UAE newspaper, that he is set for a January loan move, after giving himself six months to settle into life at Chelsea. Now it seems the deal has been brought forward and the Potters and Chelsea want to get the loan done before tomorrows deadline, and then review the situation in January before deciding whether to make it a seasons loan. Lukaku, who averaged nearly a goal every other game in ab Anderlecht shirt, will go out with the mission to learn the art of playing up front in the Premier League and after the bruising opening day draw at the Britannia Stadium, Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has decided a spell with Tony Pulis and his troops would help bring on the talented teenager. As well as a fantastic goalscoring record the hitman is full of power and pace, two attributes vital to succeeding in a Tony Pulis frontline and is viewed as the eventual successor to Didier Drogba.
