Poll Result: Best Opponent v Stoke 2010/11

Stoke have come up against some of the worlds best this past season and seen some sublime performances against them but which was voted the best of them all, which opposition has been the biggest thorn over the past ten months.

Poll results below:

1) Carlos Tevez - 26.9% - Man City striker was a menace as the Eastlands side defeated the Potters in the FA Cup final before scoring two fantastic goals against City in a league game just three days later.

2) Gareth Bale - 20.5% - Spurs left sided player scored one of the goals of the season in the Potters opening home game when he scored a fantastic high volley, right inside the far corner of Thomas Sorensen's goal. Bale had already scored the opener in the game and was a real problem for the Potters defence all game

3) Javier Hernandez - 14.1% - Scored three of the champions four strikes versus City, including a magnificent back header that won, like the strikes by the top two in this poll, Goal of the Month on Match of thr Day. Showed himself to be a real handful throughout both games and a lethal finisher inside the box.

4) Vincent Kompany - 7 .7%
