Stoke sit 4th having played the same amount of games as Bristol City, 1 more than Brighton and 1 less than Reading. In order to keep up with the pace at the top of the league, Stoke need 3 points from this fixture, which should have taken place on the 1st of December.

Peterborough sit 16th in the league. Stoke should be looking to win and one could easily say, this is the very last possible chance for automatic promtion. We need to take all the points.

Stoke should be on 58 points if they were keeping with their 2 points a game average. That would put us 2nd at the moment right behind reading with a game in hand. Unfortunatly we have 51, we sit 4th.

Stoke have taken 5 points from the possible last 18.
Peterborough have taken 11 points from their last possible 18

No we haven't got this mixed up, Stoke seriously are throwing away promotion with form which is much worse than a side which sit 16th in the league.

-------------------------------------

Stoke have gone through their bad patch and now is the time to make up for it. If Stoke can put together an unbeaten run, I have no doubt that automatic promotion is still on the cards.

We shall have to wait and see.
