"We've got a bit of resilience about us and we work hard so I'm very, very pleased with the result," Pulis said after the game.
"Leeds were raring to go after losing to Sunderland, and Kevin Blackwell and Sam Ellis would have got them up for this one - and they threw everything but the kitchen sink at us.
"We played Burnley on Saturday and had most of the possession so it was a change around here, with Leeds having most of the posession.
"One defeat in eleven is very, very pleasing."
