Owen fell awkwardly after a tackle with Coventry player Stern John and had to leave the field.
"It's a big relief. It was feared it was a serious injury, maybe even a break," Owen told the club's website.
"I had an X-ray and thankfully there are no broken bones. I'm having a scan on Wednesday to determine the extent of the soft tissue damage."
