City midfielder Nathaniel Wedderburn has helped England into the next stage of the European U19 Championships in Slovenia.
Wedderburn, 18, sat out the first game against Finland, which England won 3-1 but was brought in for the second match against hosts Slovenia where he played the full ninety minutes as the Three Lions again won 3-1.
That secured sides passage into the next stage and Wedderburn agains played the full 90 minutes in the final group game as Slovakia were beaten 2-0 to keep Englands 100% record intact.
Wedderburn has yet to make his Potters debut but has been on the first team bench numerous times and had a loan spell at Notts County last season.
