The club and Petur Martiensson have decided to cancel the player's contract by mutual consent. It ends what was a fustrating time at Stoke City, where despite being more than able, he never got given much opporunity - he just didn't fit the picture.
Petur's wife moved back to Sweden a few weeks ago and he will return there to continue playing football.
