Liam Lawrence voted StokeCityMAD player of the season

Last updated : 27 April 2008 By Richard Murphy
Lawrence polled 71% of the votes cast and will undoubtedly scoop many of the official awards as well. The winger has enjoyed a terrific season netting 15 goals (so far) including a hat-trick at Barnsley and has weighed in with a large number of assists. When Liam is not in the team there is a noticeable difference in the Potters attacking potency.

Ricardo Fuller with 10% and Mama Sidibe with 9% were the next best players according to the poll.  The only other players who recorded any votes were Ryan Shawcross, Steve Simonsen, Richard Cresswell and Rory Delap.

So, congratulations to Liam, and lets he we can celebrate in style with promotion to the Premier League next Saturday.

COME ON STOKE!!!
