Hitman David Kitson has left the Britannia Stadium, to join Middlesbrough on a months loan.
Kitson is the Potters top scorer this season with three goals but failed to net at all last season after his club record £5.5m transfer from Reading. The one time England contender returned to Reading at the end of last season, but only netted once in three months back at the Madjeski Stadium.
Kitson will now be hoping to net the goals to either seal a permanent transfer in January or force his way back into the Potters frontline.
