Stoke goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen is confident of being fit for Monday's Barclays Premier League clash with his former club Aston Villa. The Denmark international missed his country's 1-0 win over Iceland on Tuesday after an elbow problem flared up. The 34-year-old injured the joint in the first match of the season against Wolves and then picked up an infection. Sorensen will undergo a scan on Thursday but is hopeful a course of antibiotics will clear up the problem, which is in the other elbow to the one he dislocated last season.
