Happy New Year

Blackpool - Todays Visitors

Stoke have met blackpool on two previous occasions this season. Both at the Seasiders home - Bloomfield Road. One was the LDV where they beat us when we put out a lower than full stregnth side, and the other was a 2-2 draw, where Chris Iwelumo scored two in the space of 60 seconds to stun the home crowd. Ormerod had the last word though in a thrilling game in Blackpool.

Stoke are without Brnjar Gunnarson after he broke a bone in his foot at Huddersfield on saturday. Handyside also looks doubtful after an x-ray also from the Huddersfield game. Major losses to the team.

So if this team news is right, this is how the team should look today.
LIKELY LINE-UP

CUTLER
HENRY THOMAS SHTANIUK CLARKE
GUDJONSON O'CONNOR VANDOERZEN NEAL
IWELUMO COOKE

Hopefully Stoke will show what they can do today in the chilly temperatures at the Britannia Stadium. Dress up warm because there will be a cold wind up there - and Happy New Year
